I have such an unwarranted sense of confidence.

I’ve never been on a Tinder date and not assumed that the other person on the date didn’t want to immediately marry me, despite the fact that that has never, ever happened.

So when I asked Academy Award-winning actor, Jared Leto, if we were best friends, I don’t know why I was expecting any else than him saying “No”.

That sounds like a joke, but…

Once my heart has mended itself, and pieced itself back together, I spoke to the Morbius star about the possibility of his iteration of Joker coming face-to-face against Robert Pattinson’s Batman.

While he said he hasn’t seen The Batman yet – which is mental; he genuinely must be one of two people on this whole planet who hasn’t seen it* – he said the idea would be interesting… So, DC, if you’re reading this, pay up.

He then praised Michael Keaton – who played the Caped Crusader twice – naming him as his favourite Batman performer. (Sorry, Batfleck.)

Jared continued to speak about his outing as Morbius in the, well, film of the same name, dodging the idea of which actors he’d like to join him in the anticipated Sinister Six, and even threatened my life when I asked what the original post-credits scene would look like, after Morbius‘ post-credits scene featured moments from Spider-Man: No Way Home, a film originally set for release after Morbius.
