Yvette Nicole Brown Says A Community Movie Is Definitely Happening

There are a few things I’d like for in this world; for the pandemic to be over; for all debts to be abolished; for me to wake up in the morning with a glistening six pack, despite living on a diet solely consisting of doughnuts.

But, most importantly, I’d like for there to be a damn Community movie already.

The hashtag #SixSeasonsAndAMovie doesn’t quite work when there isn’t, y’know, ‘And A Movie’ at all.

Having previously spoke to Joel McHale and Danny Pudi, who play Jeff Winger and Abed Nadir respectively, I continued my mission of hanging out with Community’s study group – until I become best friends with Donald Glover and feature on his next single – by chatting to Yvette Nicole Brown.

And, PSA: Yvette may just be the sweetest human that has ever graced this planet, so if you’re prone to going all warm and fuzzy inside, you may want to look away now.

The actress who played Shirely Bennett in the series confirmed that a Community movie was, in fact, happening, and that all of the cast and crew were keen to reprise their roles, but it was now more of a “logistical” matter, with everyone currently working on solo projects.

Yvette continued to write her ideal Community movie plot, which bared a striking resemblance to the one Danny Pudi pitched; as she said that it would be up to Shirley, Jeff and the rest of the study group to find Troy, after he went off sailing around the world.

As this is the second person to have pitched this exact plot to me, I fully expect 20% of all profits from the upcoming Community movie. You heard me, Dan Harmon. This is a written contract.
