Look, I’ve had a lot of guests on The Movie Dweeb Podcast; Oscar winners, action stars, superheroes galore, but very few of them have actually become all of their most iconic characters mid-interview. Until Tara Strong.
Yes, THE Tara Strong. The voice of Harley Quinn. Raven. Timmy Turner. Bubbles. Twilight Sparkle. Miss Minutes. A one-woman multiverse of cartoon chaos. And, lucky for me (and you), she brought everyone along for her appearance on The Movie Dweeb Podcast.
Harley Quinn, Raven and… Dill Pickles?
At one point, I decided to turn the podcast into Tara’s very own solo Comic-Con panel. I threw some rapid-fire questions her way, but the catch? She wasn’t allowed to answer as herself. Instead, she had to channel the chaotic minds of her most beloved roles.
Harley Quinn kicked things off strong. When I asked her what Batman would post if he had a Finsta, she didn’t miss a beat: “His OnlyBats.” I am both traumatised and impressed.

Then came Raven from Teen Titans, who delivered the dryest, most relatable roast of Beast Boy ever. “What’s the only good thing about living with Beast Boy?” she asked, deadpan. “So many worsts… you’d need a 12-hour podcast.” And yet, she ended up calling him “a funny little weirdo,” which (spoiler alert) she then also called me. That’s going on my LinkedIn.
Twilight Sparkle from My Little Pony got fiercely mathematical about cupcakes. Timmy Turner wished for world peace and calorie-free desserts. Bubbles from The Powerpuff Girls called me a loser (with love), and baby Dill Pickles… Well, he just babbled sweet nonsense. Which honestly sums up my entire hosting style.
The Joy (and Madness) of Being Tara Strong
This was more than just a masterclass in voice acting. It was an emotional, hilarious ride through the life of someone whose vocal cords have basically raised multiple generations.
On the podcast, Tara opened up about how she landed the role of Raven, how fun (and occasionally exhausting) it is voicing Timmy Turner, and what it’s like hearing her own voice while just trying to go about her day. Imagine ordering a coffee and having the barista play a Loki scene featuring your voice.

Is Miss Minutes Returning in Avengers: Doomsday?
Obviously, I had to ask the big MCU question. Will we see Miss Minutes again in Avengers: Doomsday?
Tara’s answer, as Miss Minutes, naturally, was… terrifying.
“You didn’t see my name on one of those chairs, did you? Well, I could tell you if I’m in that movie, but I would have to prune you. And you don’t want me to prune you. So, you better stay on your sacred timeline and reverse ask me that question so I don’t even have to say no…”

Chilling. Chaotic. Completely unhelpful. And now I’m terrified I’ll vanish mid-TikTok edit because I poked the TVA bear too hard.
Miss Minutes: The Most Terrifying Cartoon Clock in the Multiverse
In case you’ve somehow dodged the Loki hype, Miss Minutes is the animated clock assistant to the Time Variance Authority, and she’s voiced by Tara in a way that’s both sweet and spine-chilling. Think Siri, if Siri could kill you for stepping out of line.
She started as a helpful mascot and slowly revealed herself as a glitchy, terrifying villain. It’s one of the most fascinating performances in the MCU, and proof that Tara’s voice acting isn’t just for animated Saturday morning telly. She’s shaping the multiverse.
So whether or not she shows up in Doomsday, it’s safe to assume Miss Minutes isn’t done haunting us just yet.
Who Is Tara Strong?
If you’ve ever watched telly (literally at any point in the last 30 years) you’ve probably heard Tara Strong.
She’s the voice behind some of the most iconic animated characters of all time. From Bubbles in The Powerpuff Girls to Ben in Ben 10, to Batgirl in multiple DC projects, to Twilight Sparkle, to Raven, to Timmy Turner, the list genuinely goes on forever.

She’s the kind of performer who doesn’t just voice characters; she inhabits them. And in this podcast episode, she proves it in the most chaotic and brilliant way possible.
