Hold onto your pointy hats, Potterheads! Katherine Waterston recently joined me for a chat about her latest project, The Agency, and naturally, the conversation drifted into magical territory.
The Fantastic Beasts star is teaming up with none other than Tom Felton — Draco Malfoy himself — in the upcoming period comedy Fackham Hall. With two Harry Potter alumni under one roof, I had to ask: Is this the magical reunion fans have been waiting for?
Waterston, who played Tina in the Fantastic Beasts franchise, couldn’t help but playfully downplay the idea. She raised an eyebrow and quipped, ‘It’s not really a reunion, is it?’
After I told her that I desperately needed the clickbait, the actor then quipped, “Yes, it’s an amazing Harry Potter reunion. I love it.”

The conversation then took a self-deprecating turn as Katherine reflected on the broader Wizarding World. With Tom having grown up on the sets of Harry Potter, it’s no surprise that the two stars found themselves reminiscing about their respective roles.
She jokingly noted the age difference, recalling Felton’s days as a young Slytherin, saying, “Tom was so young. I was not.
“[The Harry Potter franchise] made more money.”
Hey, honesty is the best policy, and it doesn’t take a vial of Veritaserum to know which films made more money.

Despite the playful jabs, it was all in good fun. Katherine rounded off the discussion with a heartfelt nod to Felton’s success, turning to the camera with an affectionate, “Well done you.”
Fackham Hall is set to be a light-hearted romp through period comedy, also starring Thomasin McKenzie and Damian Lewis… But sadly, no dragons or nearly headless ghosts. That I’m aware of.
