Will Poulter Shuts Down Theory That Adam Warlock And Gamora Have A Relationship In GotG 3

I love my girlfriend. Of course I do. Yeah. Whatever. Blah, blah, blah. But do you know who I really love?

The actor Chukwudi Iwuji, who I interviewed in January and had a bloody delightful time with. (I know. You came here for Will Poulter and his arms that are so big, they have their own gravitational pull; not Chuk, but bare with me.)

I simply mentioned that I quite like the work of his Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 co-star, Will Poulter, and once the interview was over, Chukwudi had DM’d me, telling me that he’d mentioned The Movie Dweeb to Will, and that he’d love to do an interview.

I’m not crying; you are!

True to his word, Will finally joined me (on the hottest day in British history, hence why I was so slimy-looking in the interview) to discuss the likes of Midsommar, We’re The Millers, The Voyage of the Dawn Treader and – of course – Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.

With theories going around that Will’s Adam Warlock may have a romantic storyline with a variant of Gamora, I pitched it to him, and – well, I don’t think it’s so much of a theory as it is a big, sloppy mistake.

“I don’t even know this. This is breaking news to me,” said Will of the idea that his character would be in a relationship with Zoe Saldaña’s. He continued to question the storyline, stating that this was the first time he had heard of the those two together, despite them being coupled up in some of the comics. (Only I could take one of the most iconic superheroes, and make it sound like he was a contestant on Love Island.)

Is Will Poulter deadly serious? Is this the first time he’d ever heard this theory? Or has he just learned everything he needs from the Andrew Garfield book of How To Lie About Your Upcoming Marvel Appearance?
