Chiwetel Ejiofor Reacts To Theory That John Krasinski Portrays Mr Fantastic In MCU

I am a straight-up wuss; there are some adverts on telly that make me fear for my life.

So when it was rumoured that Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness was going to be MCU’s first proper, scary film, I needed answers. ASAP.

I got the chance to speak to Chiwetel Ejiofor about his latest series, The Man Who Fell To Earth, and after telling him that I could out-sing him (I actually did say that, almost word-for-word), we got talking about his role as Mordo in the anticipated Doctor Strange sequel.

Being the hard-hitting journalist that I am, before telling Chiwetel that I am going commando, I wanted to probe some reactions from him when I brought up fan theories.

Naturally, I couldn’t ask Chiwetel to confirm or deny them – I’m not that much of a monster – instead, I had him simply ponder it and respond with a noise.

I pitched three speculated theories to him;

  1. John Krasinski would play Mr Fantastic, after years of fan-casting, in the MCU
  2. Chiwetel’s character, Mordo, will play Doctor Strange 2’s main antagonist
  3. I will get an invite to the world premiere of the film, from Chiwetel himself

I know what you’re thinking – isn’t it a god damn relief that I asked the last one?

Of course, Chiwetel gave nothing away, but there was quite long, hesitant pauses between the questions and the answers. That’s all I’m saying. You look into it, won’t ya?!
