Nicki Minaj and Miley Cyrus. Vin Diesel and Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson. Liam and Noel Gallagher.
For years, great scholars will teach of these celebrity rivalries, but they will all pale in comparison to the bitter feud between two-time Academy Award nominee, Jonah Hill, and 50-year-old baby, Grogu.
Firstly, I think it’s disgusting that Jonah simply thinks he can throw his weight around, because he carries a certain level of fame; thinking that he can publicly attack someone a lot older than him; especially as Baby Yoda isn’t old enough to develop speech yet. It makes me sick.
I’m glad I got that off of my chest. I used to be a fan of Jonah’s, but after this, I think it’s a step too far.
According to reports, Leonardo DiCaprio kindly introduced Jonah to Grogu via his EMMY-winning series, The Mandalorian.

Speaking to W magazine, Jonah Hill said that Leo “made me watch The Mandalorian when we were making Don’t Look Up, and it was like, Baby Yoda was so cute, but I just didn’t give a fuck because I didn’t know anything that it was about.”
Is that not the most self-centred, egotistical thing you’ve ever read? Jonah Hill refused to acknowledge poor Grogu’s existence because he – and I quote – “didn’t know anything that it was about?” How about reading a book sometime, Jonah. Ever heard of the 95,000,000-word document on the history of Arvala-7?
Despite Jonah shaming Grogu with his ‘one rule’ (“If it didn’t happen or it couldn’t happen, then I just wasn’t interested”), Baby Yoda took the higher ground and refused to comment; seemingly taking himself off of social media to avoid the conflict.
Clearly, this backlash has effected Jonah, as he took to Instagram to share a message; saying, “LOL is there anything cornier than literally all media . They’re literally trying to create beef between me and Baby Yoda.
“I’m getting ahead of it. I wanna say this once on the record officially: Baby Yoda and I are dear friends and text at least once a week. We may not be text every day type of friends and yes Covid put a strain on our friendship , but we are all good. And that’s all I will say on this matter ! Now please respect our privacy at this time.”
While I hope for Jonah’s sake, Grogu learns to forgive him, I wouldn’t hold it against Baby Yoda if he didn’t. To attack a baby like that is simply inexcusable.
