I’m a fan of Tom Holland. Who is that surprising? I mean, he’s friggin’ Spider-Man. If you’re not a fan of Tom Holland, you’re not a fan of life.

So, naturally, I will try to crowbar him into every interview I ever do. If I sat down with the Dalai Lama, I’d say “Interesting that you have the word ‘llama’ in your name; you know who else has a creature in their name? Spider-Man”.

As I sat down with Chloë Grace Moretz to chat all things Tom & Jerry, things soon escalated as we pitted her Hit-Girl against Tom Holland’s Peter Parker. (I AM SO SORRY TOM HOLLAND ARMY. I AM ON YOUR SIDE. FORGIVE ME.)

“I’ve always had this want to play a villain, but I think people might peg me more as a superhero,” said the 24-year-old actress.

“I would enjoy to be, of course, in the Marvel Universe, in any way, shape or form,” she continued. Chloë went on to say that she’d love to possibly reprise her role of Hit-Girl, from 2010’s Kick-Ass, within the MCU.

“Hit-Girl would for sure with that fight [against Tom Holland’s Spider-Man. What are webs going to do against her bad-assery?”

I thought I was just going to get some juicy clickbait about her wanting to play – I dunno – Sue Storm; not possibly start a civil war between two fandoms.

It couldn’t really get any worse, could it? Or, so I thought, until I then spoke to Michael Peña about Chloë joining him in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, maybe as Squirrel Girl, only for him to force me to do an impression of said squirrel.
