What I wouldn’t give to be Harry Styles.
He has a credible, acclaimed pop career, with millions of adoring fans swooning at the mere thought of him. His hair looks like furry caramel, and his suits are sewn by God himself.
And now the dude’s going to have superpowers. Was he, like, Mahatma Gandhi in a past life?!
The ‘Sign of the Times’ singer is reportedly set to star in Marvel’s X-Men reboot, which will see the likes of Wolverine, Storm and Magneto appear in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Kris Tapley, host of Netflix’s The Call Sheet podcast, announced that Harry is going to appear in a Marvel movie in a now-deleted post on Twitter, after it was confirmed he would be continuing his acting career, starring opposite Florence Pugh in Olivia Wilde’s Don’t Worry, Darling.
The writer said “Second if we’re counting the Marvel movie no one knows he’s in.”
Well, Kris; the good thing about Harry Styles’ fans is that they definitely won’t catch sight of that post, and make it the biggest trend in the world, so you’re safe there, pal.
It’s rumoured that Harry – who has previously starred in the Academy Award-winning Dunkirk, and is rumoured to appear alongside Brad Pitt in an upcoming drama, too – will portray Pyro in an X-Men reimagining.
Pyro has already had several outings in film before, with Alexander Burton portraying him in X-Men, while Aaron Stanford played the pyrokinetic superhero in the two sequels, X2 and X-Men: The Last Stand.
