In an attempt to properly dick all over Tom Hardy’s CBeebies Bedtime Stories, Taika Waititi has recruited the likes of Meryl Streep, Benedict Cumberbatch, Meryl Streep, Cate Blanchett, Meryl Streep and MERYL FUCKING STREEP to read Roald Dahl’s James and the Giant Peach for charity.

Episodes will be released weekly and will help support Partners In Health, a global health nonprofit founded by Roald Dahl’s daughter, Opehlia Dahl.

I guess Taika’s just trying to get in the Dahl Estate’s good books, as he’s already been announced to write, direct and produce two original animated series for Netflix based on Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Well, getting Meryl Streep on your charity reading is a FUCKING GOOD START, PAL.
