With Disney+ being readily available to stream Marvel’s latest and greatest movies into everyone’s home, during lockdown, what could be better than enjoying the whimsy of this colourful franchise?
That, and bawling hysterically as Tony Stark, Black Widow and Yondu all perish in brutal deaths.
Don’t come at me if you considered those spoilers. Do you not own a television? Or eyes, for that matter?

The MCU has had a tendency to break hearts by killing off characters that mean the most to us, and – in fitting tradition – James Gunn is seeing that we sob even more during his third outing, as he directs Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 3.
Taking to answer several fan questions on Instagram, James confirmed to his 1.3 million followers that someone will die in Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 3, with a simple (and chilling) ‘yes’.

Nothing else was confirmed about this character’s fate – especially not whether or not they were a main character, so, yes, I am naturally very nervous, as I am still in debt to Kleenex, having used 3,493 boxes worth of tissues on Spider-Man’s death.
Again, you can fuck off if you’re going to moan about spoiler alerts.
Fans seem concerned for Gamora’s safety after she’d already died, and was brought back (sort of) as a younger version of herself in Avengers: Endgame. We are, however, a long way off from finding out who this unfortunate character may be.
Firstly, there’s the small issue of coronavirus cock-blocking all cinema-goers, and then there’s the fact that James Gunn is currently working on the DCEU film, The Suicide Squad, after Marvel fired and rehired him.
At least it’s good to know that my anxiety is going to be in full swing until I know which Guardians of the Galaxy figure is next for the morgue.
